The Hippodrome Casino London Documentary
We are currently filming the development of the Hippodrome Casino until the grand opening, in May 2012. The Casino will be the biggest in the UK (38,000 sq ft) and will be the first to be designed as a 24 hour operation with premium mass market appeal. The documentary will capture its modern day development and project its creative vision and grand scale restoration, giving it depth with past history from the 1900s through to the present day. Securing informative and entertaining content, our aim is to engage the audience and generate media interest.

Format/Structure
The documentary will show this in action by exploring the following content:
History: Starting at the beginning in the 1900s through to the present day, including interviews, archives, and press archives, selecting interesting facts both educational and entertaining.
History content to include:
The Hippodrome's original role as a circus and the host of characters and variety acts that performed there. Plus a profile of the architect who designed it
Houdini's greatest escape in 1904
Its reconstruction as a theatre from 1909-1951 and the shows that appeared there
Talk of the Town: the acts and big stars who performed there
The night club years: from owner Peter Stringfellow to the "Cirque Hippodrome"
The current development to the grand opening

We are currently in development to provide production services to Lionsgate for multi-media platforms, including their premières, celebrity interviews and marketing of their films. We have always had a close relationship with Lionsgate, and they have been a great support to us. Long may it continue!
